JNTUA College of Engineering, Ananthapuramu stands aloft on a solid foundation of past glory and prestige. This college was started in the year 1946, under the post-war reconstruction program and functioned at Guindy campus, Madras for two years before moving to Anantapur in 1948. By 1958, the college settled into the present permanent buildings, including the Administrative block, Laboratories, Engineering Departments, Library, and Hostel blocks. Over the years, the college has been affiliated with Madras University, S V University, and JNTU Hyderabad. Since 2008, it has been a constituent college of JNT University Anantapur. With a campus sprawling over 185 acres, it serves as a center for technical education in a peaceful, conducive environment for learning.
